Shlomit was born on May 1952 in Bnei Zion village in Israel, a daughter to Yakov and Miriam Slavin. Shlomit graduated Wizo- Hanna Yaffe- High school of Art, at the department of Graphics and Textile design. She served for 6 years in the I.D.F as a graphic designer.In 1972 she married Shuki Horesh and gave birth to 3 children: Amit, Adi & Anat.

All her life Shlomit was involved with Art and Aesthetics, from cultivating her beautiful home and garden to constant engagement with the Fine Arts.
